i would hope that Albanese, Col Jenny, Arabs-did-it-esque and the rest of the disinfo police force are manufactured, because if they genuinely believe they are helping in some way i would half feel sorry for them.

some of the original fake truthers probably managed to convince a few people who are clueless enough to continue to follow their lead.

my basic outlook is this. there was BOUND to be a fake movement started, and however real it became over time it would continue to be infiltrated. its purpose would of course be damage control and so generally speaking those who persist in hanging on to parts of the official story that are by now thoroughly debunked (Arab Muslim hijackers, e.g.) are the likeliest candidates. the second likeliest are those who spew utter nonsense or otherwise act like lunatics like... well, you all know the ones I mean!

of the shills I would say that there are two basic types. the "hold your ground" types who always claim to believe, say, LIHOP and don't budge, and the "fisherman" types who profess to hold the majority opinion at any given time and slowly revert to, say, LIHOP as time goes on, thus "reeling back in" as many old timers or newbies to the orthodox (LIHOP) conspiracy theory. I put "Operation Loose Change" in the latter category.
