Subtle Disinfo Watch - Dem Bruce Lee Styles Casts 911Blogger as the Victim of No-Planer Smear Campaign

Dem Bruce Lee Styles has posted a video at YT's Truthaction forum of Andrew Lowe Watson (a notorious no-plane advocate, part of the blatantly obvious disinfo crowd) where ALW attacks him, Jon Gold, YT, and others. Because I think YT is actually sincere, I think this is a method that the subtle disinfo crowd is going to be using to try to preserve credibility in light of their being exposed as censors of anti-LIHOP and anti-Zionist posters. I don't think it can credibly be argued anymore that 911blogger is anything more than a sophisticated attempt at damage control by the perps that infiltrated the movement in its early stages. Their goal is manifold, and makes use of the following tactics:
* discourage and/or penalize any criticism of site favorites (users #1-15, e.g. Jon Gold)
* promote Alex Jones and his right-leaning views to turn off lefties
* promote Ron Paul in order to politicize the truth movement in unproductive ways
* promote Loose Change as a wonderful vehicle for truth when in fact it is used to launch cheap counterattacks by being sloppy
* promote the flimsy case against Pakistan (Patsystan) and the "Saudi connections" which only serve to support the myth of Islamofascist hijackers
* protect Larry Silverstein and Israel from scrutiny by claiming that the evidence against them is nonexistent or weak
* promote the idea that "Bush did it" or "the New World Order did it"
* portray themselevs as victims of smear campaigns by the obvious disinfo tools like Nico Haupt, Jim Fetzer, Peggy Carter, and now Andrew Lowe Watson
Hmmm, feel free to add if I've missed any!
I think it CAN be argued
that 911B is more than a sophisticated gatekeeping enterprise. I consider it a possibility that dz censors for subjectively benevolent reasons -- making a good impression on "normal" folks, for example. Whatever the case, I do in no way support censorship, and neither jump-the-gun verdicts -- no matter who delivers them! That includes you, my friend -- I think that lately, you've been jumping to conclusions a little too quickly, and I feel it's my duty to tell you.
Don't become the manichean candidate!
I do agree with most of your points, though -- however, I fail to see the bad in supporting Ron Paul.

you may be right
and I may be right, who knows! dz has always struck me as a nice guy, but that doesn't mean all that much. I'm always open to being shown the error of my ways, b so don't ever think that pointing out flaws in my logic, approach, etc is anything but welcome and encouraged. I'm the first to admit that my style involves sometimes pushing the envelope in order to coax things out of people that they wouldn't necessarily think to say, things that help me understand them AND myself better.
As for Ron Paul, like I said in a previous post my problem is not as much with him as with how he is being used to a) splinter the truth movement into left and right camps b)give left gatekeepers an easy way to turn off their sheep to 9/11 truth and c) to support the notion that as truthers we should settle for something less than explicit truthtelling and truth demanding. Even Cynthia McKinney could do better on that score. At some point someone is going to have to take the risks of speaking out just as we have in the realm of citizen action. It was not easy to go public with signs and pamphlets when we were still considered totally fringe, but many did (and I was not the first, so I did indeed follow more brave people!) and it's a good thing too. As a species the politician is of course more cowardly and less morally upright than the average citizen so I know it's a lot to ask of them but ask we must--nay, DEMAND!! :)
As for 911b, tehre are no doubt some honest folk there who are not going to leave the site and I'm glad because someone has to keep an eye on the you know whos. As messy as a break up is it is usually for the best, no? And as much as I welcome and encourage people to disagree with me there will naturally be times when we will have to agree to disagree. I don't intend to beat a dead horse for too long--I see the point of leaving blogger as breakingout of a particlar rut and have no intention of jumping straight into another, that of petty bickering over who's who and what's what. Right now I feel I just have some steam to let off--I'm sure it won't last, especially if we can get some good discussions going about some of the 9/11 issues that don't get discussed often enough.
It's all good
as expected, we both know the value of critique -- and of being provocative ;)
In regards to 911blogger, we just don't know what's going on behind the scenes. I'm merely offering up less sinister scenarios to explain -- mostly because I believe dz means well. It's likely that JG simply has more "pull", and that would explain the seemingly preferred treatment. Speaking of which, he hasn't been around anymore, either, no?
About Ron Paul: I see him less as a divider than a uniter -- just consider how many left-oriented people have announced to register republican in order to support him in the primaries! His record is one of integrity, and that excites and motivates even people who've become politically apathetic -- probably due to the lack of choice on the ballot. Shunning him just because he's republican only plays right into the divide and cinquer scheme that has disarmed dissent for so long. If I were to shape the ticket, I'd say Paul/McKinney '08 -- integrity all the way, plus a sincere "fuck you" to the prevalent political paradigm.
The new sidebar to the right is great, btw!

I agree Paul/McKinney would be great
But they would have to have a limited mandate since the two are VERY different in their views on a lot of issues. But until Paul quits the party like Bloomberg has I won't believe he is entirely serious about rocking the boat as much as it needs to be rocked.
Thanks for the feedback btw--please feel free to submit polls, everyone! I can't think of enough to keep that block interesting... and post content! PLEASE!

NOT very impressive of Mr. Paul! How odd is it that not only does RP play right along with the OCT, but that he does so on Alex Jones' radio show of all places? Very odd, sorry Bruce.
you know though Bruce it's interesting
the posts here that are kind of catty and mention people over at 911b get about 20 times more reads than the other ones, so from a purely marketing standpoint, it seems that's what people like to read! :)
more nostalgia...
Wow, 3 years ago I still thought YT/Cosmos was sincere! Nothing much else has changed, though...
