Thanks for your commentary and thoughts on a delicate and controversial subject. Israel, as a sixty year old political entity created under the shadows of British colonialism, has always been very concerned with hiding or softening the inconvenient truths of its genesis and modern history (America does this as well -- ask a Navajo), and in place of the truth, Israel likes to project, as a mask or cover, a crafted, criticism-deflecting, “innocent victim” image. Because the United States, since the end of the Second World War, has been Israel’s prime benefactor -- maintaining and protecting the historically misinformed perception of Israel and the Palestinian conflict as it is held in the American mind is of primary importance and grave concern to Israel; and I am using the term “American mind” here to indicate the general public perception within the continental, North American media audience.

This is alittle after the fact, but this was posted on 911B and thought it was a very interesting read.

I'd like to hear some of your thoughts on this. And if the warning is true, we should all expect to see an "event" Tues, 7-24 in NYC, which is tomarrow by my calender.

I really hope this is a hoax. But if it isnt, and a real event does happen on 7-24, this may be the event that justifies the Truth movement to the masses.

The author is a law professor at Harvard. His story is about the contradictions inherent in reconciling his orthodox education with his participation in the "real world".

It's an interesting read especially in light of Israel Shahak's much more critical work on Orthodox Judaism, Jewish History Jewish Religion - The Weight of Three Thousand Years.

It's nice to see this kind of soul-searching published, couched as it is in apologetics...

I once started a local newspaper and worked as its managing editor for 6 months. The interest and response to our new publication was surprising and encouraging. The experience has often made me think that a professionally produced Truth publication (on newsprint) might have an enormous impact because so many people have never had the opportunity to be exposed to the information that convinced us that something needs to be done.

This would be a monthly publication on small newsprint with 8 pages containing 10 to 15 articles of various lengths featuring stories chosen from online or newly written articles covering different aspects of the questions, facts, and controversies surrounding 9-11 and the individuals involved.

Ideally the publication would appear (and be) completely unbiased and present the facts objectively and leave conjecture up to the subjects of the articles.

Because all kinds of conspiratorial imaginings can brew when one maintains silence on an issue, I would like to throw my two cents into the ring regarding various statements or beliefs expressed over at the truthaction.org forum during the big Casseia-Jon Gold showdown of yesterday. Gosh, it was just like being over at the old 9/11 Blogger when your computer’s inner circuitry could sense the passion and the heat certain topics or combos of people could invoke. I would usually move my cursor bar past these diversionary blow-ups as I would rather see or participate in an honest, informed debate as opposed to an all day, name-calling, nasty innuendo fest. Although a heated row in the center of any village will bring out the spectators nonetheless.

WASHINGTON -- Oregonians called Peter DeFazio's office, worried there was a conspiracy buried in the classified portion of a White House plan for operating the government after a terrorist attack.

As a member of the U.S. House on the Homeland Security Committee, DeFazio, D-Ore., is permitted to enter a secure "bubbleroom" in the Capitol and examine classified material. So he asked the White House to see the secret documents.

On Wednesday, DeFazio got his answer: DENIED.

That's right, the Kossacks are showing their true colors yet again! They seem to have taken offense at her challenging Nancy "America and Israel Now and Forever" Pelosi on her unwillingness to pursue impeachment.

Slowly but surely the truth about everything and everyone is coming out. Cindy reveals she really is 2 legit 2 quit, the Kossacks continue their purge. First 9/11 Truthers, now anti-War folks. The only thing that matters to the "progressive" Kos is electing corporate candidates who put D's next to their name. Look out MLK! Stand back, Howard Zinn! Jimmy Carter, probably the most decent man to occupy the White House, received a lot of grief during his term in office, most of it undeserved. His latest book, “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid” has brought him even more grief, none of it deserved.

My own appreciation of Jimmy Carter is new found. It began with his previous book, “Our Endangered Values,” in which Carter criticized the direction in which George W. Bush was taking America with his assaults on the Constitution and international law. His latest book, currently a best seller, shows that Carter has the courage to match his decency and commitment to peace in the Middle East.

The U.S. command said Wednesday the highest-ranking Iraqi in the leadership of al-Qaida in Iraq has been arrested, adding that information from him indicates the group's foreign-based leadership wields considerable influence over the >Iraqi chapter.

Khaled Abdul-Fattah Dawoud Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, also known as Abu Shahid, was captured in Mosul on July 4, said Brig. Gen. Kevin Bergner, a military spokesman.

"Al-Mashhadani is believed to be the most senior Iraqi in the al-Qaida in Iraq network," Bergner said. He said al-Mashhadani was a close associate of Abu Ayub al-Masri, the Egyptian-born headof al-Qaida in Iraq.
