Staking a claim in the rush to narrate 9/11 Truth
I had an idea today, while writing for school, because I need MORE things to do. /sarcasm
The Shill Game, the obscenely hyped Great LIHOP Hope for transmitting 9/11 Truth through fiction, is an abject failure. However, I do happen to think that fiction and especially allegory are good methods of planting ideas in people's heads. What would an EFFECTIVE 9/11 Truth novel be like? Or an anthology of 9/11 Truth short stories?
For a long time, I rejected the idea that 9/11 Truth should propose what I term a "counter-narrative" and instead merely focus on deconstructing the OCT narrative. Even when this was my opinion, however, I recognized that it flies in the face of the way we are constructed as thinking beings or, as I used to put it, human nature abhors a narrative vacuum. The facts are not enough for understanding -- we have a deep need for a story to hook all the facts up into a comprehensible whole.
Of course, we are operating without all the information we might need to produce the closest approximation of "the Truth" that might be written in narrative form. Our understanding is partial, though ever-increasing. I don't think this is an insurmountable obstacle to producing a powerful meme-delivery device, which is what a good piece of fiction could be.
As I suggested above, I think an allegory, whether closely attached to reality (as a roman a clef, for example) or only loosely moored but truthful nonetheless (e.g. 1984) is the way to go. The aim should be sparking re-examination of history in the mind of the reader, rather than attempting to write a definitive version of events.
Writers are already staking out 9/11 territory -- either from an OCT-bolstering perspective (I'm dimly recalling a New Yorker short story -- or was it a novel excerpt?) or a OCT subverting one (The Shell Game, as advertised.) I'm planning to give thought to some fictionalization -- and perhaps other people would like to join me, and we can compare notes.
Ideas for characters, settings, allegorical events, and so forth are most welcome in the comments space below.

In a new thread he posted on TrueFaction If I were an insider orchestrating a 9/11... Nicholas fills in for us the crucial details of just how the hijacking occured on 9/11, and you're never going to believe what he has figured out!
1) The "al-Qaeda Islamofundamentalist terror network" really exists!
2) If he were an insider orchestrating a 9/11, he'd look for "real" patsies, i.e. people who either already had the idea of striking at the American empire and wanted to do it, as martyrs or otherwise, or else who could be recruited by a cut-out organization that I was actually running. He also reminds us that this is how it usually works in the real world when patsies are used. So, the new definition of a patsy is someone who REALLY COMMITS THE CRIME...that they are then falsely accused...um...er...made to look like they...well, anyway, they were patsies who REALLY DID HIJACK THE PLANES. DUH.
3) He points out again for us the immense damage people like David Ray Griffen are doing to the movement by not acknowledging the obvious: That the "weak" claims of the "living hijackers" originally reported on the BBC has already been conclusively debunked on 911myths.com.

Wow. I don't know about you, but that pretty much wraps it up for me. Who could argue with that? Who WOULD argue with that? WHO? Yea, you know what kind of WHO, don't you?
Well, that should have wrapped it up for everyone, but then comes along that pesky chrisc to point out that, while totally agreeing with Nicholas that DRG has lost all credibility, there's still reason to hold on to just a little bit of skepticism if only because:
I don't know about "real men who really believe in their cause" -- I agree that this would seem to be the sensible way for them to organise things but what about the drugs angle that people like Peter Dale Scott have highlighted?
Also consider all the bogus "foiled" terror plots -- it appears that the spooks are unable to find and organise competent fanatics for their fabricated terror scares, why should this have been any different on 9/11?

I've been proposing a consensus position focusing on the intervening criminal act of destroying the Twin Towers, since this caused most of the deaths and also the injuries to rescuers. This would remove conflict over various controversial issues, including plane at the Penatgon, planes at the WTC, Muslim hijackers, Saudi/Pakistani involvement, and yes, Israeli involvement.

From your perspective, the disadvantage of not talking about Israel is that there would not be talk about the unsubstantiated claims of Muslim hijackers. Of course people would continue discussions of whatever they want---I'm just proposing a strong consensus focus on this central criminal act, the title of your blog.

Let's start with the scene of the crime like any other criminal investigation and see where that takes us.

sure, we love our jewmoonhoax as much as the next conspiracy kooks, but we are first and foremost advocating for a real investigation into the demolition of the world trade center. i registered this domain as a kind of statement when it seemed clear that the "official movement" was not going to place it at the top of their priority, even though it IS, as you point out the site of the most murders, as well as the scene of the crime for the most part.
but you're going to run into the problem that I've had, which is that when you look at 9/11 from a point of view favoring the issue of the towers'collapses (which some pretenders to trutherhood still claim to doubt) you notice that the story is one featuring prominent Zionists (not just people who believe that Israel has a right to exist--wealthy and politically connected fund-raisers for Zionist causes with links to the foreign country that has sent America more than a few spies.
and whether or not you notice this, it is the exact reason why some people prefer focusing on so-called "warnings" or "foreknowledge" as if it mattered who knew what about the planes when the planes did not bring the buildings down. Bad what THEY did, those evil Bush/Cheney people, whether it was let leak the dates of our war game exercises involving false radar injects for simulated hijacking scenarios.
Hmmmm... does seem so... OBVIOUS no? And every individual has plausible deniability, since they only had to know what mattered to completing their part. So that many people focused on may well have the airtight alibi of REALLY NOT HAVING KNOWN exactly what was going to happen. But someone somewhere knew the entire plan, of course, 9/11 didn't "just happen" like "shit happens"--someone made this shit happen by demolishing two buildings on top of hundreds of innocent people.
Those who are complicit in one part of course may be technically innocent, but they know that their role will be suspected, so they bend over backwards to please those who must be pleased to keep that information from becoming general knowledge.
Seeking the truth about 9/11 means seeking to know 9/11 entirely. No truther worth her salt is going to claim to believe anything else. Part of understanding 9/11 means understanding how people could have done something like it. And there exists no doubt the gamut of reasons for which people decided to play a role--from actual ignorance of their role to sheer psycopathy. The citizens of America must cast a wide enough net to not miss anything important, but this doesn't mean not setting aside certain fish for special scrutiny. It is patterns that emerge when suspects begin to be outed that provide us our best chance of determining all who should be held accountable.
If focusing on the political and business associations of key players in the life and death of the twin towers is going to be frowned on, then these patterns will not become known by those who deserve them become known--the real victimsâ„¢ of 9/11--those who actually were killed and who did not fake their deaths to collect from one fund or another.
I told y'all I have adopted any and every friendless/family-less person who died on 9/11, and intend to seek the truth about 9/11 for them--that is to say intelligently idefatigably, but above all honestly. A movement dedicated to seeking truth must hold honesty above all other virtues, but especially above unity.

whoever they may be, are the only ones who can't claim plausible deniability (they of all people can't say they didn't know what was going to happen as a result of their work), but also the least likely to be identified. identifying them should not be abandoned of course. but a way must be found to compel those who SHOULD have known what was going on (i.e. Lucky Larry) to start cooperating first by ceasing to express the disingenuous belief that their property was destroyed by plane damage and burning jet fuel.
