Who are these people, and how did they get into my country? Obama haters on Al-Jazeera

I was going to make this a comment on a related thread but then I decided it deserves its own blog entry -- there are a few facets worth discussion.

-- the man who says Palin will bring integrity to the White House (OMG dude, she's running for Vice President -- or do you all know something we don't?)

-- the woman who says "most people have forgotten 9/11"

-- abject, miserable racism and Islamophobia of the worst sort

-- the fact that this is on Al-Jazeera

Al-Jazeera got a hub in DC, i lost some trust..

regarding the vid,

aside from the ignorami interviewed, there was one dude who expressed his feelings of threat from the pro-palin/mccain mob, which is genuinely out there, talk radio and all.

polarization..divide and conquer -  only this time it is the corporate entities who profit.

Otherwise why aren't they covering the truth about 9/11 24/7? It's like "Alternet" for muslims and arabs. If "even al Jazeera won't go there" then you had better not either unless you want to find yourself on a "terrorist watch list" somewhere!

Then in forums it serves to provoke a bunch of right wingnuts into insulting all the reasonably moderate arabs and muslims who are then naturally appalled at the attitudes of mostly "white christian" types as a result of which they find themselves drawn gratefully to those who make a living from exposing "white christian" stupidity, i.e. the fake left a la Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, Rachel Maddow, etc. Lie, Divide, and Conquer.
