at first i thought you meant they're not accepting new comments but then i see they took away all the comments at prof. Matory's opinion piece, where there had previously been a bunch of 9/11 truth and other non anti-semitic related issues discussed. I wonder if the same one idiot guy who was posting on there complained to harvard while posing as dozens of different people in order to bring this about...

I would also like to voice my disappointment that you not only have shut off commenting on your articles but also have deleted all previous comments. Not only is the deletion of previously published content a journalistic no-no, it is unclear why the system, subject (as commenters were made aware) to moderation, was flawed.
In the interest of transparency, will the Crimson be elaborating on the specific reasons for the policy change, that was made suspiciously close in time to the publishing of Prof. Matory's "Israel and Censorship at Harvard"? You see, one might argue with some justification that the deletion of these comments, many if not most in support of Prof. Matory and critical of Israel, serves to prove his point.
Of course the entire thread can be read on Google's cached copy at

the fact that they shut down commentary is a black spot on this institution's reputation. btw, and sorry to be off topic, but I thought of you when i came upon this - just in case you had not heard of already: http://www.bostonpalestinefilmfest.org/about.html wish i could be there. perhaps some opportunities for discussions with, and truthings and consolations to, Arabic folk. Last week I attended a beautiful "iftar" or breaking-the-fast dinner. during question and answer, one Egyptian Muslim fellow voiced his concern and fears about what the rest of the community thinks of Muslims. (trying to establish a mosque - controversial) at the end of the night, there we were in a small 9/11 conversation. i told him "go tell your people, it was not 19 arab hijackers..this truth is being revealed." he was astonished, to say the least.

are afraid to be painted with the same brush as all those "conspiracy minded arab muslims" overseas. that seems to have been the purpose of much of the "police state" hysteria, to intimidate those with the most to gain from the truth from speaking out. I have had the chance already this year to talk to a young first-year student who is a muslim-american, who before arriving at Harvard had been exposed to a little bit of 9/11 truth but not much. I gave them a copy of 9/11 mysteries and Debunking 911 Debunking. I ran into the student not long ago and they said they were watching it when their roommate came in--their roommate who is not from the US said their mom had said the day of 9/11 that "that isn't right--there's something going on, buildings don't do that". Happily they watched the rest together and my new acquaintance said it was "amazing". But of course, they are nervous about openly talking about it because of their background and fear of reprisals. That's the basic state of affairs and why I am doing everything I can to push the envelope and break through the wall of silence here. As soon as the wall starts leaking nothing will stop it!

my apt building has more than a few eastern european immigrants, one of whom lives with me. anyway, they all agree that there was a lot of discussion back home on 9/11 (11/9 to them) of 'this could not happen to the usa! there is something not right with these attacks. the gov't is lying to them about this.' after all, they grew up under control of the ussr, so distrust of gov't is inherent. crap! i'm late, i have to get back to work!

Your writing was in fine form and everything was simply, cogently, and logically explained to the Anonymous entities over there who still want to believe that strip club jihadis and their flying machines have the power to produce a meltdown of 267 total stories of massive steel. Ah, the power of “The Lobby.†God could personally appear on CNN and criticize Israel, and they would howl that He was an anti-Semite. What a world.

Separately, and WAY OT, I just popped into Dan Abrahamson's http://www.falseflagnews.com to see it's being updated again with tons of articles. But what's striking is, DA is on the attack against AJ/Infowars, Steven Jones, and "9/11 Cultists" who deny the existence of directed energy weapons. A few weeks ago, I listened to one of DA's radio shows, and he was beating the drum for DEWs, saying they're something we should be expending our energy investigating....
I'm critical of some of AJ's shtick, but anyone who makes a part time job of attacking other patriots (AKA wedging people) as DA has done, and Web Tarpley also recently; are shills. I'm waiting for Kevin Barrett to come out as a shill as well-- given his penchant for promoting and defending the more obvious shills like fetzerCo.

It appears Abrahamson is no longer on WTPRN. Their archives now list his "past show archives", with his last show 9/24. I recall last Fall shortly after his colleague Fetzer flipped as a shill, DA gave a rant on one of his shows about how this DEW noise was bad news, they're obviously gaming us, etc. Now DA has flipped, as evidenced by his wedging antics at his site FFN.
Also, there's no more trace of Robert Steele's short lived show on WTPRN. He's the (ex?) spook who made waves last year in writing a nice review of Tarpley's book at amazon. I listened to his first couple shows, and he disappointed, propagating LIHOP, how muslims did 911, and at one point he even said the ISI controlled the CIA!?!? I don't know if WTPRN is taking out the trash, or whether these terminations are coincidence, but it's nice to have these shills out of circulation there.
