the "truth in truthing" act

requires me to admit that this poll was created with "I like it." already ahead 47 to 0.

The FAQ on who do you think

The FAQ on who do you think did it plays safe, too safe. Even a newby should get info on who we think did it, even if we have to qualify that we only think they did it based on suppositions and circumstantial evidence. If we do not illuminate the discussion with the best info we have, limited as they are, then the newby becomes prone to suggestions of lihop, that the Arabs and Muslims did it.

I like the new front page, it is simple and elegant.

agreed.....

If only to let people know its about more than just "Bush and the arabs". Though the rest of the site makes it pretty clear that this site thinks deeper than that.

juandelacruz's picture

that is true, but only if

that is true, but only if you have stayed long enough in the site. A newby to 9-11 would likely not pick up the best info right away and might even find the wrong info easier to digest in other sites

good point....

Maybe a link to a few key individuals/companies that certain other, less reliable "truth" sites typically leave out would be helpful. I'm nitpicking though, the new site is great, I like the wiki stuff.

3rd paragraph of why are you doing this... needs editing

"Similarly, the 9/11 myth has been used as teh basis..."

i think C455 is sneaking in lolspeak...

:)

thanks everyone for the feedback, critical as well as supportive! i'm hoping eventually to open wiki editing to everyone, but want to get used to the new backend interface etc. before going too crazy.

on the weakness of the "whodunit" page, you all are right that it's too safe at this point. this is the perfect venue though, to discuss how we think it could be properly worded to get the points across as well as possible...

10 years?

fuzzy math. you mentioned it has been 10 years since 9/11. pretty sure you meant 8+, right?

gretavo's picture

yeah it was meant figuratively...

but i fixed it... i don't want to have to update it every year.. how's that for lazy? :)
