NORTH CALDWELL-An 82-year-old North Caldwell man who for 1 1/2 years has desperately tried to convince local officials to pass along “evidence” of treason on Sept. 11, 2001 to a New Jersey judge got his day in court last week.
But it was not exactly the forum Don Meserlian wanted. He was there on charges of harassing a borough police captain, filed after he relentlessly pestered the local police department to further his cause.
Meserlian was found guilty Thursday in Fairfield municipal court of telling the officer on a recorded phone line last October, at a point when his frustration boiled over, “I will kick your a**” and “I can beat you any time with one hand tied behind my back.”
“I asked him if that was a threat,” testified Capt. Mark Deuer, “He said, ‘No. That was a promise.’”
Judge Frank Pomaco, suspending the usual fine, ordered Meserlian to pay $39 in court costs and advised him to stop bothering local police since they don’t have jurisdiction to investigate the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
“I was trying to run a police department on a daily basis, and the constant phone calls are an annoyance,” said Deuer, who’s officer-in-charge until a new police chief is appointed. “It had no other purpose other than to harass me. Normally, he’s polite, but on this day he was not.”
Meserlian, a forensic engineer who’s lived in North Caldwell for 45 years, has appeared before the borough’s governing body several times since September 2008 demanding they pass a resolution that states there’s evidence there were bombs in the World Trade Center towers that went off seconds before the planes hit.
As an act of civil disobedience, Meserlian said he’s kept his property taxes for the past year in an escrow account until the council complies. Borough administrator Joseph Kunz said he owes more than $14,000.
“I’ll pay as soon as they obey the law,” Meserlian said in an interview. “Just remember, the American Revolution was held for the same thing, to overthrow tyranny. You’re about to witness the next American Revolution. Hopefully, it can be done peacefully.”
Acting as his own attorney at the trial, Meserlian was joined by several members of a movement to have a grand jury investigate 9/11, including a New York City freelance writer, Sander Hicks; a voice-over actor and organizer for a group in Wayne called Prosecute Them Now, Stuart
Hutchison; and a Westchester, N.Y., architect, Jeffrey Orling.
Hicks, who self-publishd a book on a 9/11 cover-up, said he admires Meserlian for coming up with a strategy for airing his cause. According to Meserlian’s interpretation of a federal law, any citizen can present evidence of treason in any jurisdiction. Local officials must then make the information available to a state judge, who will pass it along to the correct jurisdiction where a grand jury can be convened. If officials refuse, Meserlian said, they can face up to seven years in prison and a steep fine.
The judge was lenient in letting Meserlian build his case, allowing Hicks and Hutchison to testify over the objections of Fairfield prosecutor Marcella Wilson. But he asked them to keep their remarks limited to Meserlian’s character.
When Wilson asked what was relevant about bringing 9/11 into a case about harassment, Meserlian interrupted, “9/11 is the whole thing. The municipal court is the only place where you can get a fair hearing.”
Meserlian admitted he can be annoying, but that’s only because he’s trying to get the truth out, he said. The judge said he that respects Meserlian has a mission, but North Caldwell is not the right venue to pursue it.
The next day, Meserlian appeared to be pleased with the trial, in spite of losing. He was triumphant about getting to read his interpretation of the treason law.

Sander's buddy ,Anthony Lappe', who wrote the forward to Hick's book "The Big Wedding", was a Columbia School of Journalism graduate who was later recruited by the US Gov. to help train journalists in Gaza. Funny when I asked him about it he said he didn't know what the USIA was at the time. Does the CSofJ not teach about the USIA? It was only the largest US Propaganda monster for 50+ years. It was even once run by the Edward Murrow and worked closely with the CIA during those years.
I don't know what Hick's is up to. Maybe he's a good guy trying to get at the truth.
But my experience over the years tells me not to trust him. I ask my self "What would more sophisticated 911 disinformation look like?" Not Space Beams and TV Fakery that's for sure. The true perps blamed these crimes on 'Muslim Extremists'. Any time someone 'plays along' with the theory of Islamic Extremism being responsible for 9/11/2001, they are helping cover-up the crimes of that day. And that's what Sander has done since the beginning.

(NEW YORK) On February 4th, 2010, 9/11 activist and forensics
engineer Don Meserlian was brought into Municipal Court in Fairfield,
New Jersey, on charges of “Harassment” of police chief Mark Deuer.
Meserlian had tried to compel Deuer to review an accusation of
treason, in regards to the 9/11 attacks. He presented NY area seismic
records from 9/11/01 and scientific dust tests from the World Trade
Centre. This data compelled Meserlian to claim that 9/11 was a crime,
and to suspect that it was an inside job.
In Fairfield that day however, prosecution, police, and Judge Pomaco
countered that the 82-year old Meserlian had been so “annoying” to the
police, he was guilty of “Harassment.” Yet, Judge Pomaco also called
Meserlian “a patriot.” He allowed Meserlian time to make his case, over
the objections of the prosecution.
Meserlian has dug up an old law still on the books: US Code 18 (Sec.
2382). This law prohibits “Misprision of treason” and it applies to all
US Citizens, and judges. No one can fail to act, when presented with
strong evidence of treason. Meserlian had tested his interpretation of
the law by phoning U.S. Attorney David Foster, who agreed that the law
gave any citizen the duty to alert any judge regarding treason.
This Misprision statute has been used in two misprision cases from
the Civil War era. In those cases, the judges recorded insights that
remain helpful today. Treason stands alone as the sole felony our
founding fathers saw important enough to define, as they wrote the
Constitution. The founders defined treason carefully. They didn’t want
the seriousness of this charge abused.
The US Constitution states that the primary definition of treason is
to "levy war” against the USA. "Levy war” is defined in the case law,
as that which "wages" or "causes or compels" the USA to go to war. 9/11
compelled two long wars. Today there is some saber rattling about
Yemen, and Pakistan.
Judge Pomaco kept directing the trial back to Mr. Meserlian’s
accusation of “Harassment.” But Messerlian successfully made his day in
court about the higher law. To refuse to consider his evidence of
treason seemed to show the court was prejudiced against his
controversial line of thinking. And yet Judge Pomaco levied no fine on
Messerlian for “Harrassment.”
At the end of the trial, Judge Pomaco gave an interesting speech:
Don Meserlian was a dedicated family man, an upstanding citizen, and “a
patriot.” Pomaco went on to state that the 9/11 attacks were indeed
“serious” and “a terrible tragedy.”
However, to interpret Meserlian’s case on 9/11 and Misprision of
Treason as merely “tragic” is to assign a maudlin analysis to a
scientific case. The 9/11 event, and the subsequent lack of scientific,
unbiased investigation, are serious crimes. The US system of justice is
in grave crisis. But there is hope. Rational analysis of 9/11 shows a
crime that demands investigation. Even the stones cry out for justice.
Judge Pomoco tried to show virtue, but his inability to sidestep his
prior assumptions about 9/11, and his substitution of sentimentality
for a dispassionate review of evidence itself shows prejudice.
Judge Pomaco and future judges will have this problem: the 9/11
Truth Movement’s evidence is compelling, scientific, and verifiable.
Meserlian, national director of a new group called the Citizen’s
Committee for a 9/11 Grand Jury in 2010, is a lifelong forensics
engineer. In his 35 years of testimony, he has never lost a case.
9/11 is remarkable for its emotive power, but also for the crime’s
complexity, and a curious lack of judicial review. Rational,
clear-headed analysis of 9/11 has lead an entire movement of
intelligent citizens to conclude that the perpetrators of the 9/11
attacks remain unindicted inside US Military and intelligence. They
have evaded scrutiny by most media. Yet, public opinion shows a sharp
break with the Bush/Cheney/Obama official story.
The Meserlian Trial is historic. It brings about a new era for US
citizens who are skeptical about 9/11. It points us to laws to remedy
our need to investigate treason. The case must now be picked up and
made to judges of similar but even greater sympathy than Judge Pomaco.
The authors of the U.S. Constitution wanted accusations of treason
to be treated with exquisite care. Even among our broken judiciary,
surely there is a judge who understands this. It’s up to you and I to
go find that judge. Our future starts today.

CIT has worked hard to provide the evidence. Now we need you to help us force accountability.
There is no sense in pushing for the federal government to investigate if their own official 9/11 explanation is false when we already have proof that this is the case, and especially when they have already refused to do this anyway. We feel the best strategy is for informed and concerned citizens to join together to put pressure on local, state, and even some federal authorities to seek indictments of those who are already directly implicated, and who are a direct link to the planners higher up the chain of command. This will undoubtedly be a challenging battle given the current political climate, so we must also simultaneously put pressure on the media to cover this information, thereby raising public awareness and helping us reach the "critical mass" of public pressure needed to compel the necessary action on the part of the authorities.
We must never forget that the evidence proves this was a successful psychological operation, and it has had an iron grip on the mainstream consciousness of America and the rest of the world since 9/11. Nevertheless, more and more people are questioning the event every day, and there are bound to be intellectually honest individuals who are both able to understand the clear implications of this evidence and also able to use their position in the media or government to do something about it. However, they aren’t going to know it exists unless we make sure it gets in their hands.
This is where you come in. Anyone can follow the steps below from the comfort of their own home. Although it is much better to use your real name and we strongly encourage this it is not completely necessary if you are not comfortable doing so . The number one thing to remember is to document as much as possible. Take dated notes with time logs and try to record any conversations while saving all written or email correspondences.
Here is an outline of a suggested strategy. Sample letters will be live soon, and will be in Rich Text Format (RTF). Copies of National Security Alert can be obtained here.
Preparation: Compile a list of media figures, authority figures, and elected representatives (politicians), both local and national. Obviously the list could be endless, so prioritize and maintain a manageable workload. Perhaps set a goal to send out letters to a certain number of individuals every week. Also, make sure to always address specific individuals by name. This is critical if we expect to ever force accountability.
Stage 1: Send each individual on your list a copy of the National Security Alert DVD, along with a personalized letter requesting that they view the evidence and respond appropriately depending on their position. Request that media people report on it. Request that elected representatives and other appropriate authorities seek indictments. If you can afford to send all or some of them registered mail that would be ideal for documentation purposes.
Stage 2: Send them a personally addressed follow up letter two weeks later asking if they received the first letter and have viewed the evidence.
Stage 3: If you have still not received a response by the time two more weeks elapse, send a third letter suggesting that their failure to respond and act on the evidence is being documented and will be published if they continue to fail to take action. Request a response by a certain deadline as to what they plan to do about the information. Be firm, but polite.
Stage 4: If you still haven’t received a response by your declared deadline, send them a final letter telling them that you are deeply disappointed that they have failed to respond appropriately and informing them that their failure to respond has been documented and will be published. The same can apply even if you have received a response and they simply refuse to act on the information. Such a failure to act on the part of politicians and authority figures is particularly problematic for them since their inaction to the information is tantamount to the crimes of obstruction of justice, misprision of treason, and misprision of a felony. Since this is the final letter, remind them of this with one final request for a response.
Stage 5: Report back to this website with your results after you feel you have exhausted all efforts with any particular individual. We will maintain a published list of individuals who have failed to respond or take action, and we will build a case for the aforementioned crimes when appropriate. The more evidence of your correspondence you can make available the stronger case we will have.
However much pressure you decide to put on any specific individual is up to you, but the more aggressive you get within legal boundaries the better. For instance, you may want to show up and confront some of the most critical individuals on your list in person if they insist on being complicit in the on-going cover-up. Get them to tell you to your face (or your video camera) exactly why they refuse to do anything about the evidence, if that is the case. This type of action is not the least bit out of line or uncalled for given that the implications of the information you are providing them with are literally a matter of life and death.
This is strictly a non-violent campaign, and again, it is an organized effort with the main goal of seeking out honest people who are able to understand the implications of this evidence and who are in a position to do something about it in the public and/or legal arenas, while putting legal pressure on those who insist on keeping this important information suppressed.

I don't disagree with the method described above if the proof includes free fall of WTC7 rather than just the Pentagon investigation. Forcing the issue on lazy/uninterested civil servants and elective local officials might help constrict the leeway that the perps have to sway everyone their way.
Asking questions and getting a response and documenting both is completely legal. As long as the guy answering it is honest, then no harm done. If they lie on camera to protect the perps or because they love their jobs and can't risk rocking the boat, then they put themselves on record for ditching the interests of their constituents who they are suppose to serve.

To prove any of these charges in court you would have to overcome plausible deniability, and anyone without direct knowledge of actual malfeasance can easily claim that they believed the government's reports, hence no obstruction, no misprision, unless you can prove that they didn't really believe the government. It won't work. With WTC7 at least if someone causes a scene and does something stupid that brings attention on themselves, it will bring attention on WTC7 which means a lot of people who never heard of it will learn of it.

It's interesting that the one thing that the LIHOP shills are pushing the most is "treason" accusations against the Bush Administration, like as if that is our key to justice and the shortest path to truth. Yet, treason accusations are probably the one thing that would be the hardest to prove. I mean, anybody who would expect the Bush Administration to have written documents or recorded conversations implicating themselves in treason, and then leave those documents and recordings around to be discovered or subpoenaed later is smoking crack or worse. Beyond discovering such documents, which will obviously NEVER happen in a million years, everything else that people would point to for treason would be defended against with "plausible denial" and incompetence arguments. It's like the perfect misdirection for fake truthers to use to neutralize the movement.
Take Jon Gold, for example. Jon Gold proclaims on a daily basis with his characteristic bolding key words, that, "We don't know what happened on 9/11. We can't know the truth and shouldn't pretend to."
But in the next breath, Gold will proclaim his certainty about the absolute truth of the evil Mooooslim hijackers story, the truth of AA77 having crashed into the Pentagon, and just about every other part of the OCT, for that matter. But delve into anything that contradicts LIHOP, and NOOOO! We can't know the truth about the WTC demolitions or anything (that contradicts LIHOP)! Don't you dare say we can!
What a perfect strategy for shills like Gold...yea, just proclaim the truth about that which can never be proven, and thereby, try to get the truth movement to go in circles and die a quit death.

Oh, I wasn't thinking that the evidence at hand would drive all the way to a conviction, but they certainly warrant the start of an investigation. Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud here, I am not familiar with your judicial system and local government setup. But if any local officials have a mandate that encompasses the WTC events, then it may be an easier step to get the ball rolling seeing that at the national level, most of the gov't agencies are already compromised by the perps.

but eliminating the implicit and/or explicit threats of prosecution would be wise. think about it... if people are later confronted and told "hey, it says on this here website that before the truth broke, you were presented undisputable evidence of treason and felonies that you willfully ignored!" and they can say "Well, there was this guy in a black t shirt who sent me a bunch of letters threatening me that if I didn't watch his DVD and promptly pursue an investigation that I was going to be charged with misprision of treason--of course like everyone else I trusted the government's reports on 9/11 so I assumed the guy was a kook!" then what will have been accomplished?

A respectful request for a meeting, followed by a concise but convincing presentation (hint: 10min David Chandler video presented on a big screen laptop) then a question of whether he believes his OWN eyes that building 7 came down due to CD (or fire as NIST claims), and followed with a request to investigate should he find anything anomalous with the government's spin. Not sure, but something like that anyway.

don't get me wrong, as you suggest, people should be contacted and their responses kept on the record so that when the truth breaks they will have to explain themselves. but like so many other things, taking a good idea like this and blowing it up into a kind of witch hunt, inquisition, or lynch mob, however technically legal it may be, is not going to do us any favors. it will simply play into the "unhinged crank" stereotype that many well-meaning truthers already have trouble disabusing people of...
