On September 11, 2001, the day when the tragic events in New York occurred, which served as a pretext to define the basis of the genocidal policy of the United States almost 6 years ago, General Ivashov was the Chief of Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. He is a truly well-informed man. It is worthwhile that our people know about his views.

still ticking

It strikes me as beyond odd that our whole reality seems like some fiction writer's novel - here we have this oddball character Fidel Castro, still going after all these years, running a Communist outpost within mere miles of America for decades. This guy was there since (for our generations anyway) the "beginning" - he was the target of the Bay of Pigs which seems to have directly led into JFK's assassination. And there was GHW Bush - arming Cuban rebels for the CIA, then playing some shadowy role in the President's murder. Now here we are 40 years later, and these two guys are still playing a role in US international relations and in the shape of our world; now that's character development. What role if any do they have yet to play i wonder...
