Muslim Hijacker narrative takes another hit, AA77 cockpit doors stayed shut
I think the whole flight data recording was faked anyway, but they did a bad job of it so some details are not consistent. This is one of them. (2 month old news, yes I know)
9/11: PENTAGON AIRCRAFT HIJACK IMPOSSIBLE
FLIGHT DECK DOOR CLOSED FOR ENTIRE FLIGHT
(PilotsFor911Truth.org) - Newly decoded data provided by an independent researcher and computer programmer from Australia exposes alarming evidence that the reported hijacking aboard American Airlines Flight 77 was impossible to have existed. A data parameter labeled "FLT DECK DOOR", cross checks with previously decoded data obtained by Pilots For 9/11 Truth from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) through the Freedom Of Information Act.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 77 departed Dulles International Airport bound for Los Angeles at 8:20 am Eastern Time. According to reports and data, a hijacking took place between 08:50:54 and 08:54:11[1] in which the hijackers allegedly crashed the aircraft into the Pentagon at 09:37:45. Reported by CNN, according to Ted Olson, wife Barbara Olson had called him from the reported flight stating, "...all passengers and flight personnel, including the pilots, were herded to the back of the plane by armed hijackers..."[2]. However, according to Flight Data provided by the NTSB, the Flight Deck Door was never opened in flight. How were the hijackers able to gain access to the cockpit, remove the pilots, and navigate the aircraft to the Pentagon if the Flight Deck Door remained closed?[3]

I tend to agree
that the flight data that Pilots for Truth has been analyzing is probably fabricated, so personally I don't think inconsistencies in it (with the OCT) are either surprising or a very effective source for arguments against the OCT.
what I find much more interesting is how consistent the fake truthers are with their inconsistency. With the AA77/Pentagon controversy being so divisive, you would think that certain people would be all over this:

article by Frank Legge for promoting division by bringing attention to the subject. But of course they aren't, because Frank Legge is arguing in favor of the OCT (no matter how much he or anyone else might claim that they are arguing not in favor of the OCT but against "unproven alternative theories".)
I still think that in outreach to novices on the entire 9/11 truth issue we should stick with building 7 and the explosives in the towers, but internally, among real truthers, we need to get to the bottom of what happened at the Pentagon, precisely because so many seem so keen on us not doing so.
My own suspicion is that there were explosives planted in the Pentagon by someone. The damage to the building looks most consistent with this. Eyewitness testimony about an alleged plane is irrelevant because it is all contradicts itself. The five frames showing some kind of impact would have been exceedingly easy to fabricate, as would downed light poles, and even a flyover. We don't need to prove that any of these things were faked, because there is no need to disprove a claim that cannot be supported with any of the literal mountains of hard evidence that should exist in its support.
Explosives in the Pentagon, our military HQ, is very different from explosives in a privately managed WTC, hence the willingness of fake truthers to, even if grudingly, accept explosives were placed in the WTC but fanatical opposition to any kind of undermining of the OCT with regard to the Pentagon.
