Meh...
It's one of my guilty pleasures so I know the show.
I figured if I was over the top they'd keep me on for a bit and I was right!
This wasn't even the main show though it was the "wrap up show" which goes on after.
Ralph took the cake with the most idiotic statement of them all.
"in my opinion"
Craig, the more you talked, albeit emotional, the better it got. i appreciate you reiterating the endless war and killing theme towards the end. i can't believe that guy with the white shirt, Ralph?, telling you "say there is this vast conspiracy, what are you going to do about it, time to forget about it and move on"...jerk.
but... but, but, ....and don't yell at me, Craig. you opined that planes flying over the Pentagon is a common sight, it happens all the time, every two minutes or whatev...i have to question that. is that really true? isn't or hasn't it always been restricted airspace?
thanks...

Haha thanks yeah that was the statement that blew me away.
Everyone hates Ralph!

Haha! Come on I won't yell at someone for asking questions!
Despite how our detractors have framed us as irrational etc, we're actually quite accessible and friendly guys.
Yes it is true.
Restricted airspace is over the White House in D.C. while the Pentagon is across the river in Virginia right next door to Reagan National Airport.
Low flying commercial jets landing and taking off are a continuous part of the landscape and locals are quite used to it.
Cool!
Those animated gifs make it abundantly clear that the sight of a plane flying away from the Pentagon would be a quite unremarkable sight and perhaps simply not worth remembering in comparison to the stunning shock of the extremely unusual and unprecedented sight of a gigantic fireball going off and the Pentagon and the ensuing wall of smoke.
when did they
pull all air traffic down?
National Ground Stop
was at 9:26.
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,174912,00.html
There were no more departures after that but naturally it would take a while for all planes in the air to land.
Now this is a great post...
These animated gifs are awesome. These make a great point without the need for hyperbole.
that's funny...
because I was going to say they look a bit fake to me. I mean, why animated gifs? I'd like to see the actual regular frame rate vids these came from. Animated gifs suggest to me possible fakery...
foiled again!
Darn it, you caught me.
Now I wasted all that time faking the location of Reagan National Airport too!
Gretavo plumbs the depths of cynicism beyond
where most people usually go. It can be really disconcerting, especially when you are the object of his mistrust, as most people (who Gretavo doesn't know personally) will experience at some point if they hang around long enough. On the other hand, it sure provides food for thought and, while Gretavo's suspician may not always be correct, at least forces us to consider more possibilities than we might have thought of on our own. I wouldn't take it too personally.
is there any other way to deal with 9/11?
than with more than the usual amount of cynicism? I remember dz (the founder of 911blogger.com) early on being amused that I called out Jon Gold as a shill (early 2006) saying he thought it ridiculous--no one had ever done something so absurd as to accuse Jon Gold of being a shill. At that point (these were the "haloscan days") I recall responding along the lines of "go ahead and ban me, but I call em like I see em" which dz, to his credit and despite Gold's explicit request, refused to do. What seemed to most people at the time to be the depth of cynicism (accusing Jon Gold of discouraging focus on CD in favor of LIHOP deliberately and with malicious intent) no longer seems like the depths of cynicism to most. Nor am I claiming that I was somehow so much more perceptive than everyone else--the fact is that there weren't as many real, honest truthers in early 2006 as there are now--eventually someone other than me would, I assume, have begun to call out Gold on his obsession with preserving the Islamofascist myth.
To put it bluntly, Craig and Aldo are either a) dishonest or b) sincere. Regardless of whether it's a) or b), however, we can safely now say that they are clearly intolerant of anything less than 100% faith in them, and their research and conclusions. They are very friendly as long as you show due deference, but become agitated, combative, and snarky if you don't quickly express complete agreement with everything they say. Now, if anyone were to say that Gretavo is either honest or insincere, but that they're not sure which it might be since they don't know me, I wouldn't demand "a full retraction and apology" from the person--I haven't been that insecure since maybe high school.
I've reached the point where I really could care less what CIT has to bring to the debate over what happened at the Pentagon. As I said before, I don't need to believe in CIT's sincerity to believe the possibility of a flyover, and certainly not to know and convince others that we are not being told the truth about it. Nor will I hold it against anyone if they disagree and want to spend their time arguing here about Lloyde's cab--to each their own, and by all means let us all know if it gets you anywhere.
no demands
"for full retraction and apology"...haha no you would not, imho!
(btw, are you related to House?)
i appreciate how you sit back and then weigh in. thanks, Gret.
Don't take Gretavo personally.
He and I were engaging in live facebook chat once and he said to me, "Hussein, to be perfectly frank I assume everyone is an agent."
Just as none of us can really say for sure that our very existence is real and that life isn't one big dream, none of us can really say for sure that our colleagues *aren't* agents.
In other words, Craig, Gretavo suspects you, me, Richard Gage and David Griffin equally. We might all be agents. It might seem a bit paranoid but Gretavo has his reasons for treating everyone with equal cynicism.
I have met Craig and Aldo in person and feel that any potential snarkiness they might exhibit is due to their patience being worn thin from the fake truthers at true faction and elsewhere. Many of those fake truthers suspect Craig and Aldo of actually being disinfo agents whereas Gretavo is positing it as a purely abstract theoretical possibility.
A friendly piece of advice though Craig: Sheila Casey once temporarily suspected me of being a plant because at one point I was (naively) defending several (idiotic) posts by Arabesque over at blogger. I didn't hold a grudge against her. After a period of time she became convinced that indeed I was genuine, 100%. But Gretavo will never reach the 100% mark with anyone, no matter how impressive their volume of work.
yep.
"Many of those fake truthers suspect Craig and Aldo of actually being disinfo agents whereas Gretavo is positing it as a purely abstract theoretical possibility."
And the fact that that seems to pose a huge problem for Craig makes me wonder.
I'm with you guys on this
I'm with you guys on this aspect. For Craig to get angry at the concept that he might not be who he says he is doesn't make sense. I've got to think the probabilities are way in Craig's favor, but, you never know and we've seen a lot before.
But in my opinion to say CIT's work is superfluous is an insult. Their work is the (lengthy) answer to anyone who asks "What about all the people who saw the plane hit the pentagon?"
If those people exist, let some debunker find them, put them on tape, and get them on record, exactly who they are, where they were and what they saw. Put up or shut up debunkers.
So regardless of their rigid enthusiasm I appreciate the efforts they've taken. Carefully documented, independently corroborating first hand eye witness accounts are nice to have.
not so sure...
in the sense that any flyover is the answer to that question, specifying a specifically north of citgo flyover would seem to strengthen the claim of a flyover, but it only supplements the clear absence of real evidence for AA77 having crashed there. Superfluous may have been a strong word, but what can I say, he got my goat...
