my ole fave Arun Gandhi ("the Palestinians should march back across the Jordan to their homeland - some may be killed, but most will survive, and the world will take notice"..."Israel is a racist state", dismissed from U of Rochester Peace Center that he founded), and Zinn, Chomsky, Finkelstein....
some good stuff happened at the Rafah border which was open for 6 days. Check out the border sit-in activism by The International Movement to Open the Rafah Border (FB):

I'm not impressed
So what we have here is a list including many 9/11 deniers, advocating the "end of the occupation" which they define as the occupation of the Gaza strip and (presumably including) the West Bank. They do not, in other words, seem to find anything wrong with the 60 year occupation by the Zionist regime of the rest of Palestine. These people would seem then to be in support of the chimera of a "two-state solution" which is no solution at all. Notably absent from the list of endorsers are folks like Joel Kovel, whose book Overcoming Zionism should be required reading for anyone who is currently under the delusion that people advocating an "end to the occupation" and a "just two state solution" are anything but Zionist collaborators--in effect, if not intent.
i mostly agree
with you on the first link regarding the list/911 truth deniers/occupation rest of Palestine/one-state solution, and Kovel should be mandatory reading for all Israelis. However, the second link is an example of a local/regional reality action to help suffering Palestinians denied right of travel.
Now, i wonder, if there are sit-ins at the other 7 gates that Israel, not Egypt, controls.
some of the Palestinians were supposedly buying property in the sinai
thanks Kate!
for pointing out the difference in the second link--they seem much more legitimate, indeed. also thanks for keeping us up to speed on pro-palestinian activism--as far as I'm concerned the Palestinian people were one of the intended victims of the 9/11 lie, and their struggle is our struggle, now and forever!
