'FOOTNOTE 44' - Seeking Funds For Important New Documentary
Dear Fans:
The makers of 'PRESS FOR TRUTH' are reaching out to you, our loyal supporters, to help get our next project off the ground. We need matching funds for an important new project -- investors, loaners, or donors. Any amount will help. If you are interested in a business opportunity, or have a "rich uncle" you can approach on our behalves, you would be doing your part to help us investigate a major story of possible criminal wrongdoing by a number of individuals within the United States government.
'PRESS FOR TRUTH' was an underground hit seen by nearly 10,000 people theatrically, 1 million people on the Internet, and over 10 million people on televisions in twenty-eight nations around the world. Countless others have rented the movie from Netflix, viewed it at a Brave New Theaters house party, or watched it at a film festival. More than 20,000 homes have the DVD sitting on their video racks. Over 3,000 new visitors each month discover the web site. And the movie recently made it's iTunes debut at #8 for Documentaries.
For over a year now, the filmmakers have been researching and developing a new theatrical documentary entitled 'FOOTNOTE 44'. In our original, unreleased interview with 9/11 Commission Chairman Tom Kean, he referred to the incident in question as "one of the most troubling aspects of our entire report -- that particular thing." Former White House Counter-Terror Adviser Richard Clark believes it is the particular area of 9/11 that strongly warrants further investigation. Famed CIA agent Bob Baer (basis for George Clooney's character in 'SYRIANA') has told us he concurs. So do "the Jersey Girls", the widows at the center of 'PRESS FOR TRUTH'. And according to Pulitzer Prize-winning author Lawrence Wright, "half of the Bureau" (the FBI) also believes something is terribly wrong here.

Wow, no shame what so ever. It reminds me of John McCain's statement about "knowing where Osama is" and, if elected, he'll take care of the evil terrorist.
So what are Tom Kean and Richard Clark all worked up about Ray?

Marketing Footnote 44
Clever bit by the makers of "Press For Truth"; they mention that they are working on a film about 'Footnote 44', which they see as the smoking gun in the 9-11 Commission Report. If you want to find out about Footnote 44, send them an email (so you get on their email lists of folks who might be dumb enough to throw some money their way) and they'll let you know the big secret.

Update: As pointed out by James B in the comments, according to Pulitzer Prize-winning author Lawrence Wright, Osama bin Laden was behind the 9-11 attacks. Indeed, the prize was awarded for his book on the lead-up to the attacks, The Looming Tower.

Of course, there is one problem with this "teaser": Google. I took a quick look around for Footnote 44, 9-11 Commission Report, and sure enough solved the mystery:
Immediately after referring to the staff statement, Breitweiser focuses on Footnote 44 of the Commission report, which "proved that the CIA deliberately withheld information from the FBI about two of the terrorists who would go on to become 9/11 hijackers." The footnote indicates a CIA desk officer instructed an FBI agent not to send a cable with information about Khalid al Mihdhar and Nawaf al Hazmi to his colleagues at FBI headquarters.
Yep, it's the mystery that appears in virtually every 9-11 kook film.

I'd like to give Ms. Breitweiser the benefit of the doubt, but she needs to make clear that what Footnote 44 is most likely concealing is the fact that the arabs in question were being "saved for later" when they would be falsely accused. NOT that they were being helped to carry out their "real mission" of "hijacking commercial aircraft on 9/11", which is simply put an unproven and highly suspect allegation.
