Among all the uncertainties, ambiguities and speculations broached in this thread, there remains something of unquestionable clarity -- that something are the universal laws of nature, which stood the test of time, and prove themselves correct again each and every day in various technical appliances all around us. Let these uncorruptable laws be our guide as we consider this painful subject, so that irrationality shall not deceive us.

It is an undisputable fact that WTC7 fell in 6.5s, whereas absolute free fall from the same height would take 6.0s. As the additional 0.5s barely account for mere air resistance, one has to conclude that WTC7's vertical structural supports -- 83 steel columns which for 14 years had reliably held up the building's mass -- all failed completely in one instant. But when steel is heated, it loses strength gradually; Never will it suddenly lose all its strength -- unless it's being cut, of course, which is usually accomplished by linear shaped charges.

Proponents of the official conspiracy theory would have you believe that, in addition to a mechanical miracle of instantaneous, total column failure -- a belief necessary to reconcile the theory with the facts -- there also occured a stochastical miracle: As one can clearly see from the various videos, the building uniformly and synchronously gives at its base. For that to occur, all of its 83 steel columns had to be terminally weakened at the same height and at the exact same time -- an incredibly orderly event, considering it's being attributed to chaotically distributed fires. An event comparable to throwing a handful of rice, and watching it form a sentence on the ground -- like "9/11 was an inside job".

It's really not surprising that NIST is postponing their report on WTC7 time and time again, considering the impossibility of attributing probably the cleanest implosion this world has ever seen to mere accident.
