Possible Disinfo Being Prepared Under FOIA Requests on WTC Tower Maintenance

I can see someone taking this in the direction of "well there was all this rust (iron oxide) on the columns, and that could have precipitated spontaneous thermite reactions" and/or "the asbestos-containing fireproofing had been removed but not replaced, thereby leaving the structure vulnerable to jet fuel fire" and/or "the company hired to do this work has connections to Bush/CIA/Saudi/Patsystan therbey giving access to al Qaeda agents to surreptitiously plant explosives."  Let's face it--people who post regularly to 911blogger, who apparently have no problem with the obvious shenanigans going on there, should be eyed VERY warily.  Speaking of, Kevin Ryan posted a link to a new paper by Frank Legge telling us yet again to stop doubting that AA77 hit the Pentagon.

Pre-9/11 WTC Steel Column Renovation Records Reportedly Forthcoming; Others Not Located

The following is a Freedom of Information (FOI) reply from the Port Authority of NY/NJ reporting that contracts pertaining to abatement of World Trade Center tower asbestos containing fireproofing material have been located and are available for release. World Trade Center tower asbestos abatement was noted by the December 6, 2000 Merritt Harris Inc. report entitled "Due Diligence Physical Condition Survey - World Trade Center".

Records for renovation contracts pertaining to WTC tower elevator shaft steel column rusting noted within the same Merritt Harris Inc. report were not located.
