
For a long time
the idea of arguing about abortion at 911blogger was my worst nightmare, but I think Paul's stance on "bodily sovereignty" is hypocritical bullshit, as are the positions of all those populist liberty champions who get wishy-washy (or downright self-contradictory) when it comes to this issue. Thinking about arguing with these guys really crystallized my pro-choice ideas, which had softened up a bit after my own experience of pregnancy and childbirth. I like the personal liberty-based argument now, rather than crap about when the fetus becomes a human being (although as I said at 911B, my *personal* ideas about this are different than they were before I had a kid.)
