well, let's see...
"...Christian patriot constitutionalist..."
He's a Morman who believes that Jesus was resurected in America and he has written books on the "stigmatas" painted on the hands of Indians in early native American art.
"... has become fed up with the powers that be..."
Well, he worked for many years for the "powers that be". The Department of Energy and at Los Alamos labs (where, by the way he worked in "nano technologies" which just happens to be the same place his "nanothermite" references come from")
You also mentioned in another comment that his Wiki page says he suspects Israeli involvement... Fact is, as a Mormon generally and specifically a BYU professor, they are very sympathetic with the Israeli/zionist agenda. BYU has a campus in Jerusalem on what used to be Palestinian land. The Mormons actually think that the early native Americans were Israelites a lost tribe I guess, I don't know.
"Jones struck me as a man who as a researcher had gone down too many rabbit holes..."
One of his early "rabbit holes" was the study of cold fusion. He was tasked by the Department of Energy to undermine the Pons / Fliechman study on the subject many years ago. Basically he was an academic hitman for the Department of Energy. The oil industry and the uranium industry did pretty well after that. That's one of his "rabbit holes".
Now he is chatting about subjects that most of us cast aside years ago when Dr. Judy Wood kept connecting with 9/11 Truth. Guess her "ray beams from space" background was undermining all the credibility the "earthquake gun" should have gotton back then.
