Here in the local 9/11 scene, the (relatively) normal and functional among us spend much time trying to understand the outrageous activities of the local 9/11 nutcases. They're way too dysfunctional to be getting a paycheck -- or at least that seems to be the consensus. It's made me wonder if they've developed ways to harness the crazy people sort of indirectly -- a la MK ULTRA. This is just wild speculation born of extreme frustration.

I do feel quite sure that whatever kind of shillery or disruption is going on is organized along lines very different from the COINTELPRO of yore. It seems like a no-brainer that disruption of this movement would be "outsourced," for example, and have no direct connection to any government intelligence agency. And as a matter of fact, there's a faulty premise underlying the work of certain autobiographical film-makers -- if the "perps" are not the government, but more like the rogue elements spanning the government/private border, then OF COURSE disruption is not going to trace back to the FBI or another spooky alphabet entity.

The bottom line is that I think it is possible or even probable that some shills, far from being on a payroll, don't even know they're shills.
