Where to Go From Here?
Well, if you still believe that something called "al Qaeda" is the real threat facing us, then this is for you:
Enjoy your irrational fears and your false comfort!
But if you want to learn more about what's really going on in the world, there are still many excellent resources available online and in bookstores and libraries. If we've learned anything over the last five years, it is to always get our information from a variety of sources. Especially useful are sites that compile news and information from various sites themselves. Watch out for too much overlap in coverage which may indicate groupthink setting in..
The following lists are not exhaustive nor do I agree with everything on them, but they represent a diversity of views and approaches to the topics in question.
The world is complicated, but most people can learn how it works just by taking the time to read and discuss the available sources of information with other people.
Together we can take back our world, but only if we DO something! It's as simple as raising these issues with the people around you and not being afraid to question what you are told.
Here's a few links to get you started--where you go from here is entirely up to you... you're not alone in your skepticism--far from it--but remember to think independently and come to your own conclusions.
